You are buying a 1930's Schwinn boy's camelback style bicycle. This is an almost all original skiptooth bike (missing the grips and maybe the tires). Unfortunatly, it was repainted some time in the past, but it looks as if the original red color is still under the blue. The blue paint is scratched and starting to crack...
This bike is missing the original grips and maybe the tires.
The fenders are the stepped version, original, and fit the 20" wheels perfectly. The original seat is still in decent shape, but showing age with cracks and a few tears. The boy scout handlebars are in good shape, other than the missing chrome/nickel and the slight rust on it. The pedals are in decent shape along with the metal clad rims. The rims in particular are very nice.
This bike would make an excellent addition to a collection and a fun project for someone who loves restoring antique bicycles.
*** Note that the fork is bent back slightly. It is clearly seen in the side views of the bike.
This bicycle will need a full tune-up to make it into a daily rider.
