You are buying a vintage used Sears The Rail muscle bike.  Hand built in the US this retro cool muscle bike was part of the Sears Spyder line of bicycles.  We believe this to be a 1967 model as with the current configuration this matches that years catalog shots (the 1966 model did not feature the black GT 707 banana seat, and the 1968 model went to a more robust Shimano Stick Shift, as well as the all chrome slotted chain guard).  Featuring dual 20" wheels, Shimano Luck 5 speed shifting, ape hanger bars and a GT 707 banana seat with chrome sissy bar this was one of sears nicer muscle bikes.  This model is aestheticaly in alright shape, there's plenty of surcae corrosion and scratches and the saddle has a couple of tears on the saddle.  Still equipped with the original red strip tires (functional though dried with age) and Shimano Luck 5 speed drive train (stick shifter is missing upper grip) this bike is ready to go from a memory to mean street machine once again.
