Details

This a used vintage Rollfast Skoot 20" children's bicycle.  This bicycle has been fully tuned and is ready to go.  The bicycle looks original - seat, chainguard, bars, grips, wheels all seem correct.  The frame is a neat cantilever design where the twin toptubes split around the seattube and weld to a looped seatstay.  Very neat.
Some original decals remail - the Rollfast on the chainguard is mostly there but the decal on the seattube is in nice shape.  The seattube decal has on it "Rollfast" and D.P. Harris Hdw Co.  New York, NY, since 1885.
Decent paint, in black with white accents.  Several scratches, gouges, dings are seen on the fenders, chainguard, frame, and fork.  Rims have some shiny chrome, but showing quite a bit of rust around the spoke nipples and a few other spots.  Chrome on the bars is mostly missing, but the stem is good.  The grips are worn but still slightly white.  Pedals are in ok shape as well as the crankset.  The Messinger saddle is in ok shape, but looks worn and slightly run out.
Wheels are trued but are not perfect.  The rear tire has been changed out to a Carlisle 20 x 1.75 while the front looks like the original - its a Super Crest 20 x 1.75
The bicycle rides well and would be a fun choice to toodle around the neighborhood.  Especially with that cantilever frame.  Nice bike.

Size:  20" wheels, frame fits children from about age 6 or 7 to about 10 years old.
