Details
You could be the proud owner of this vintage custom touring bicycle. Hand built in North Carolina in the '70s this bike features beautiful craftsmanship and a classic touring parts group. Perfect for the rider ready to conquer any distance or collector, this bicycle is looking for a new home and it could be yours.
BIKE CONDITION
The bike is in excellent overall condition and free of bends, cracks and corrosion. The red paint still has a good luster to it with very few small marks or scratches to be found throughout the bike. The bike appears to be a custom build from the frame up. The Wobbler tires are cracked from age but appear ridable. The handlebar tape is a bit loose and could use a re-wrap or replacement before riding. Unfortunately there is on small ding in the top tube on the drive side of the frame.
This bike has been tuned and fully overhauled right down to the re-greasing and packing of the bearings (hubs, bottom bracket, and headset) by a seasoned shop mechanic with many years of experience. The bike has also been test ridden and given a thorough 83 point inspection by the owner of our bike shop. The owner ride the bike in every gear checking steering, braking and shifting. After you receive this bicycle, minimal adjustments will be needed to be ready to ride.
This bicycle is being sold as is, please see photographs for details.
