A description from the 1975 Schwinn catalog:
It's just a little curve in the seat tube but it makes a big difference in the ride. This year the ten-speed Schwinn Sprint design has been even further refined, so that now more than ever it redistributes the rider's weight, positioning it over the wheel and creating outstanding traction. Check out the Schwinn Sprint. It's really something different.
This unusual concept in lightweight bicycle design is a result of intense engineering and design development... proven by computerized standards established at the Calspan testing laboratories. The special frame angles, weight distribution, and over all configuration provide a responsive, easy riding bicycle with remarkable performance characteristics.
Special shorter wheelbase carbon steel frame, Twin-Stik gear shift, dual position center bull brake levers, 27" x 1 1/4" high pressure gum wall tires, and lightweight steel rims.
BICYCLE CONDITION:
The bicycle has only a few chips and scratches in paint, and is in good condition for year that is was manufactured. The bicycle is free of major damage including bends and cracks.
This bicycle has been tuned and fully overhauled right down to re-greasing and packing of the bearings (hubs, bottom bracket and headset) by a shop mechanic with many years of experience. Then the bicycle was test ridden and given a thorough eighty-three point inspection by the owner. Finally the owner rode the bicycle in every gear checking steering, braking, and shifting. After you receive this bicycle, minimal adjustments and assembly will be needed to be ready to ride.
This bicycle is being sold as is, please see photographs for details.
