You are buying a vintage Rapido kid's bicycle made in Czechoslovakia by Favorit.  Favorit manufactured everything from bicycles to component groups and were mostly known for their low-cost Campagnolo knock-offs.  For collectors of European bikes, this bike is quite rare and a great find.  We believe this particular model to be a 1970's Rapido Tour Glide, and it borrows heavily from both the American/Brittish muscle bike and the Italian folders of the era (the bmx/apehanger style handlebars and the integrated rear rack to provide two examples).  It's got the original blue paint and the chain guard and rear rack, but the fork, handlebars and seat have been replaced, and it's missing the rear fender.  It's a rare bike, and there's very little documentation about this particular model.  There is a decal on the down tube that indicates it's a Super De Luxe model, but all research leads us to believe this isn't accurate.
There's rust where the paint has worn off, and also where the chrome has worn on the handlebars and fork.  The grips and seat need cleaning, and the tires are beginning to crack.  Chain and chain ring are in good shape.
Really cool-looking bike, and with a tune-up could be a fun ride for kids ages 5-7.
