You are buying a vintage used Motobecane Nomade 18" kids bicycle. Made in France, this bicycle appears in the 1975 model year catalog. A true rare French collectible, very few of these were imported to the states and very few remain. Featuring a full 6 speed Huret drive train with down tube shifters this bike was marketed towards "the beginner who wants to enjoy the pleasures of true cycling." A Huret Allvit rear derailleur is paired to a Atom 3 speed freewheel, front shifting is provided via a Huret Allvit derailleur and a miniature 3 piece cotter pin crank set. Braking power is provided via Weinmann caliper brakes and levers. Unfortunately the original 18" 450A tires are cracked and unrideable and will need replacement. This particular bike is in ok shape with scratching and some minor surface corrosion to the paint job. This bike has not been tuned by one of our shops mechanics and will need a tune up before it is ready to ride.
