Details
This auction is for a used 1995 Cannondale M800. Handmade in the USA, this bike features 3.0 aluminum, cantilever dropouts, and Cannondale's signature smooth welds. Unfortunately the paint job has seen better days but there are no dents or cracks and once tuned up the bike should ride nicely. The components are a mix of various parts and are not all original so please see the details below for details.
From the 1995 catalog "A smart choice for challenging, technical terrain, the 3.0 "Beast of the East" features an elevated bottom bracket for clearing obstacles and a sloping top tube for extra straddle clearance. The 3.5 lb Beasts down and seat tube are both butted for lightweight strength, and it's wishbone seatstays improve braking performance while saving additional weight." The original Marzochi Bomber Fork has replaced the original oversized aluminum fork and is still functional.
The bicycle has not been professionally tuned by one of our shops mechanics and will need new pedals and a new right brake lever before it will be functional and safe to ride (right brake mounting bolt is stripped).
This bike is being sold as is, please see photographs for details.
