You are buying a vintage used Ross Mt Whitney mountain bike.  Hand built in Allentown PA USA for the 1985 model year this bicycle features TiG wielded construction using Ishiwata 4130 steel tube sets.  This was Ross' flagship mountain bike for the 1985 model year and featured their signature all chrome finish with Tange Champion sloping crown steel fork, a reinforced, gusseted down tube/head tube juncture and their mirror like chrome finish.  This bike has made it through the years in great shape, the finish is excellent with only minor pings here and their and the decals are mostly intact.  Nice non-OEM additions to this bike include the rear rack and front and rear wheel powered generator lamps.  This bike has been professionally tuned by one of our shops mechanics and once re-assembled post shipping should be ready to ride.  Please see photographs for details.
