You are buying a vintage Steel Colnago.

We believe it to be made just before the Mexico model was made available.  There is the "Record ORA Mexico 1972" decal honoring Eddy Merckx's 1972 Hour Record which he performed on a Colnago.

Bike is a nice Red, although unfortunately there is some rust (we believe it is structurally fine as it seems to be surface rust. The inside of the bike has been treated with frame saver since we received it), but it's possible that it could be restored.  Features nice chrome lugwork in good shape and the engraved clovers in the frame and fork crown make this one sharp looking ride.  Campagnolo Rear Dropouts and Colnago Fork Droupouts.

BICYCLE CONDITION:

The bicycle has rough paint, and seems to be sound for year that is was manufactured. The bicycle is free of major damage including bends and cracks.

This bicycle has not been tuned and we recommend having it checked by a professional bicycle mechanic prior to riding.
