You could be the proud owner of what appears to be a vintage Bottecchia road bicycle. Likely built in Italy in the early '70's this bike features a Simplex drivetrain and classic Italian styling. Perfect the steel loving rider this bicycle is looking for a new home and it could be yours. Although this does bear most of the appropriate markings of a lower end Bottecchia it does appear to have been re-painted. The seat tube decal is also quite strange; "Guaranteed NOT built with Reynolds 531" (See photo).

BIKE CONDITION:

The bike is in good overall condition and is free of bends, cracks and corrosion. The yellow paint still has a good luster to it with minimal marks and scratches to be found throughout the bike. The bike appears to have all original parts aside from the newer bar tape, Panaracer tires and possibly the saddle.

This bicycle appear to be ridable , but we would recommend a tune up or sech check over by a qualified mechanic before riding.
