You are buying a vintage Gitane Tour de France road bike. Made in France!

This 23" bike has a great white Reynolds 531 double-butted frame with simplex dropouts, chromed rear stays, and chromed lower fork legs. Paint is in pretty bad shape, lots of scratches and places where it was intentionally removed. The decal on the seat tube is also pretty scratched up.

Components on this bike include Weinmann levers and Weinmann 500 brakes, a Pivo stem and Stronglight headset, Raleigh bar-end shifters, Shimano 600 front derailleur, and Stronglight crank. Wheels are 27", front hub is Sekai Suzue. Last is a Jazz by Trek saddle and MKS Sylvan pedals.

Bike does not include rear dérailleur or chain, but for what you do get, this bike is a great deal!
