This is an antique high wheeler bicycle. This mid 1880's Penny Farthing is in fair condition and is still rideable. Some parts will be needed to make it a daily rider, like tires and seat leather, but its in overall fair condition. Most likely made in America, but could be English. But too many design cues point to American bikes.
Radial laced spokes, front and rear.
Condition: fair & rideable
Grips are most likely made later, and are probably file handles
Tires are tight and could use replacement, but they are still rideable. Recommended replacement. You can find replacement tires at hiwheel.com
Saddle is at the end of its lifespan, recommended to replace saddle leather top
Mismatched pedals, rideable, but worn.
front wheel: 52"
rear wheel: 16"
