1962 Schwinn Racer Bicycle 22"

You could be the proud owner of this vintage Schwinn Racer bicycle. Built in the USA in August of 1962 this bike features a two speed kickback rear hub and full chrome accessories. This particular Schwinn was originally sold at Haack's Cycle in Madison, WI and has the headbadge to prove it. Perfect for the retro inspired rider or collector, this bicycle is looking for a new home and it could be yours.

BIKE CONDITION

The bike is in good overall condition and free of bends, cracks and corrosion. The red paint still has a good luster to it with normal marks and scratches to be found throughout the bike. There are some places where the paint is worn away as well. The bike appears to be all original with the exceptions of the newer Kenda tires and possibly the chainguard.

This bike has been fully tuned by a shop mechanic with many years of experience. Then the bike was given a thorough eighty three point inspection by the owner. Finally the owner rides the bicycle checking steering, braking and shifting. After you receive this bicycle minimal adjustments and assembly will be needed to be ready to ride.

This bicycle is being sold as is, please see photographs for details.
