Details
This is a used vintage 1970 Schwinn Junior Stingray, in red. This Stingray is mostly original, just missing the original tires. The tires were replaced with Westwind 20x1 3/4" tires. Pedals even look correct. The bike has the normal issues for something of this age: scratches on the frame and fork, seat has a few rips and mars, fender is dented in a couple spots, and the seat is dirty. The condition is ok, and with some work could make a great rider. Its a bit small though, suited more to kids about age 5 - 7 or so rather than the larger standard Stingray. The bars aren't as tall either.
The seat is the original, but it has yellowed out with age, and there is a large rip right across the middle of it. The metallic is still there, but its now a faded yellow metallic.
The fenders have several dings and a couple small bends.
The decals are getting a bit faded also.
"Smart, sporty Stingray for the younger set!"
