Details
You are buying a new Diamondback Drifter bicycle built in 2006, the only year Diamondback produced a chopper-style cruiser.
Diamondback's Drifter is built on a a heat-treated 6061 aluminum frame and is shaped to look like a motorcycle by using an extended triple tree fork, a motorcycle style saddle, and double wide tires. It features a 1 1/8" head tube, double down tube, "double diamond" gussets and "tailpipe" seat stays. A tapered and chrome-plated steel mid-rise handlebar is capped off with black textured grips. This bike also has a heat treated 3-piece aluminum crank set. The seat is quick release with a lever on the seat tube. The bike features metal block pedals and a single kickstand. It comes equipped with TekTro rear linear brakes.
These bikes are about style, and this one has loads. A red/black paint job covers the frame, fender and wheels. The fender has a diamond cutout surrounded by black accent work. The chain guard is also red and sports intricate accents along with the Diamondback name. The bike is in very nice shape, but the red paint job has a few chips on the frame near the rear wheel. The decal on the down tube is intact and the chrome handlebars and fork are not scratched. The front wheel has some paint chipped off. The seat is in great condition. See photographs for details.
This Drifter is new and was professionally tuned by our shop's bicycle mechanics. For shipping, it will be disassembled and need some assembly upon arrival.
