Phillips Women's Lugged Steel Frameset 49cm

Youare buying a vintage Phillips ladies sports-style bicycle frameset.  This particular frame was probably built after 1960, when Phillips was a subsidiary of Raleigh Bicycles.  What appears to be the original "lime green" paint job was frequently seen on their late 1960's models.  This frameset features solid lugged steel construction that characterized Britain's all-steel bicycle dominance.  It features a chrome crowned fork set up for a 26" wheel.  There is a steel seat post with a black vinyl saddle.  The original bright green paint job has been scratched and has faded significantly but the Phillips logo on the down tube is still clearly legible. The seat tube logo has not fared as well and is half scraped off.  The saddle is ripped in multiple places.  There is a fender mount attached to the seat post clamp.  This frameset would make a good starting point for someone looking to build a vintage English sports bike.
