You are buying a used 1988 Specialized Rockhopper Comp mountain bike.  The frame itself is in pretty good shape with no major dings or dents.  There are some scratches on this bike in the paint and decals, but only very few.  The color is still a vibrant blue/purple/white.  No fading on the frame paint or decals.  This bike has been professionally tuned and cleaned by one of our shop mechanics and once reassembled it should be ready to ride.  

The Rockhopper comp is all original, except for the tires which have been changed out to Specialized Ground Controls.  Also, the seat, pedals, and maybe the grips were all changed.

This bicycle is in excellent shape, both mechanically and visually.  Very few miles...

**The topmount thumbshifters work well, but both sides have defects - one seems to have the top ground off, and the other side is missing the top altogether.  See pictures for details.
