Wards Hawthorne Cruiser Bike
Great looking women's bike from Wards Hawthorne.
This is a Vintage 1950's Montgomery Wards Hawthorne Ladies ballooon tire cruiser bike. This bike has a very unique front end. Instead of a tank, this bike uses 2 extra tubes and a brace to add a little something extra to the frame. Beautiful frame, especially with the 2 color pinstriping (gold and mint green).
One of the tubes has a bad weld, and the frame might also be twisted longitudinally. Good shape, will need some cleaning - not much - and a small repair, but a great classic bike.

Saddle - Troxel womens saddle, in great shape with only a little rust on the springs but a great top
Stem - original stem, steel quill
Handlebars - 24" wide steel, needs some chrome shining, but decent shape, grips are a little off for this type of bike
Crankset - Hawthorne orginal 1 piece crank with skiptooth ring
Pedals - basic block style pedals, decent shape, not sure if original
hubs - New Departure Model D coaster brake hub - good shape, New Departure W front hub - good shape
rims - balloon tire rims, wide, silver, and in good shape
