Gary Fisher

The first and last name in Mountain Bikes Gary Fisher invented the term "mountain bikes". He then went on to develop most of the mountain bike technologies we take for granted today. Front and rear suspension, disc brakes, long top tube geometry, and 29" wheels are just a few developments popularized by Fisher. Today they are on the forefront of mountain bike technology and development. They also make full lines of hybrids and some of the coolest city bikes on the market.
